hi all was playing around with benchmark (incase i decide your cup wont be full of hiders and want to join in  ) and found these weird results:

a) settings max @ 1920x1200 vs min @ 800x600  makes 0.06 fps difference!
b) cpu use goes up on min?
c) wtf

hm either you had a background process running during the benchmark with low settings but not during the high settings bench, or...

it has sth to do with the weird coding of IV, or....

dunno  :P

Could it be that some i7 cores shut down when they are not needed? So maybe the first test is with 6 cores and therefore only a little percentage of the cpu is used. For the low settings test the cpu only used 4 active cores and therefore the percentage of usage seems higher?  


oh and seems that it's impossible to get over 67 fps with the IV benchmark, that's why there is not much fps difference between the tests.
